Hi
I’m Victor.
I build at the intersection of engineering, operations, and product strategy.
My career has moved from electrical infrastructure and utility regulation in Africa to product leadership in a Fortune 500 power management company with global presence.
At every stage, I’ve been drawn to complex environments where precision matters, clarity is rare, and the quality of execution defines the outcome.
My Journey
I began with a foundation in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, which gave me both technical discipline and a lasting respect for systems that must perform in the real world.
My early work focused on major electrical infrastructure projects, where I learned the standards, pressure, and discipline required to deliver dependable results. I later moved into regulation, contributing to technical standards and frameworks that shape how electricity services are governed and measured.
From there, I transitioned into utility operations, working on customer and process transformation within one of Africa’s largest power distribution environments. That experience sharpened my understanding of how systems, people, and service delivery must align to create meaningful progress.
I later moved to Europe to study Engineering Management, deepening the connection between technical depth and strategic leadership. Since then, I have continued to build at the intersection of engineering and business — first through operational leadership, and now through product leadership in a Fortune 500 power management company, where I help shape strategy, quality, and long-term value in a highly technical environment.
What Drives Me
I am motivated by elegant solutions.
The kind that solve real problems without unnecessary complexity, create clarity in demanding environments, and stand the test of time. I’m drawn to work that brings order to complexity, aligns capable people around a shared direction, and produces outcomes that are both measurable and enduring.
What matters most to me is not simply that something works, but that it works well, consistently, and with intention. I am most engaged when the challenge requires both sound judgment and disciplined execution.
How I Work
I bring an engineer’s discipline and a strategist’s perspective.
I look for solutions that are technically sound, commercially practical, and built for longevity. I value cross-functional collaboration because meaningful outcomes rarely happen in isolation — they come from engineers, operators, marketers, and business leaders working with clarity and purpose.
I place a high premium on standards, accountability, and measurable progress. At the same time, I believe calm execution matters, especially when the stakes are high and quality cannot be compromised.
Distinctions
- Technical depth grounded in real-world engineering experience.
- Product and operational thinking shaped by both industry and strategy.
- Cross-functional leadership across technical and business teams.
- A bias toward clarity, quality, and measurable outcomes.
- Calm, thoughtful execution in high-responsibility environments.
Beyond Work
Outside of work, I value pursuits that sharpen the mind and restore balance.
I enjoy MMA and UFC for the strategy and discipline behind the action. I also play chess, table tennis, and Scrabble — each offering a different kind of challenge, from patience and foresight to speed and precision.
I appreciate good conversation, the occasional get-together with friends or colleagues, legal thrillers, and exploring cities on foot. These are the things that keep life balanced and the mind clear.
